moderate to deep snowpack.
However, warmer weather
(2-4°C above normal) melted the snow cover in
southern portions of Russia’s Southern District
(Krasnodar Krai), though another round of snow was
approaching at week’s end.
Winter crop areas from
central Ukraine into central Russia remained covered by
10 to 40 cm of snow.
