Although it's probably too early to tell with certainty and the Ministry admit they haven't actually checked crops yet, but I tend to agree.
It might have hurt winter barley which we noted looked poor on
our last crop tour back in March and oilseed rape would be at risk although
most of that is grown in west Ukraine and escaped the worst of the weather
front.
The Ministry do say there are questions about perennial crops
which are in the flowering bud stage such as apricots, cherries and peaches.
